MALCOLM X'S 1964 GAZA VISIT

In September 1964, Malcolm X visited Gaza, spending two days in the region under Egyptian control. He toured the Khan Younis refugee camp, met Palestinian leaders and poets, and witnessed the impact of the 1956 massacre. Inspired by the experience, Malcolm wrote an essay titled "Zionist Logic," condemning Zionism as a form of colonialism and criticizing Israel's occupation of Palestine. His visit underscored his commitment to global liberation struggles, linking the African American civil rights movement with the Palestinian cause.
